Sevgilim and I have returned from the Czech Republic.
While we made up, what seemed to be the majority of the population, which was tourists.
While Prague takes in much money from tourism, I did see a shirt in a window, that had “Ban Tourism”.
While the day after returning back to the community, I meet a neighbor who informed me the board, specifically Susan and Al where still bashing and spreading false statements about me.
Even to the point of Al going door to door.
She told me I should go to the meetings to defend myself.
Why?
So, I can waste my energy and breath on speaking to those who will not hear.
To defend myself against things of which I have done nothing wrong.
Again, let them make their accusations, I shall remain quiet and if ignorance and iniquitous behavior prevails, it is only the way of this world.
This type of world belongs to those type of people.
In my conversation with my neighbor, she told me I was not normal.
But that I should not stop doing what was right because the world needs those like me.
To strive for the betterment of mankind, even against their vile attacks to thwart such things for themselves, for those are rare.
Yet I cannot, will not spend more energy on that which does not desire or deserve it.
My energy must go the only thing that matters and that is Sevgilim.
She started her corporate gig today.
A fulltime job, Monday – Friday and every other Saturday, with all the corporate world benefits.
I got up a bit after her and made her a great cup of coffee for the first day of the commuter traffic, helped tote her things down to the car, gave her my love, and kissed her good bye.
Now here I sit, having taken the next two days off from my job, which I would rather not return to but it is an ideal job, drinking some of that coffee and making a plan for a new year, that today starts with a long list of things to do.
