Today was splendid and ended much greater than it began. I awoke to run errands, which I did, but in the process, I started an early visit to the Greek ruins. To me they are more splendid than the Roman ruins. The Roman more than western Europe, more than northwest Europe than that of the last, America. As man has progressed through his so-called time, he has in truth accomplished less and less. From unknown, how achievements of the Pyramids to Athens, Stonehenge, Rome, we know not how they accomplished these feats without the use of machines. Machines have lessened man to a minute importance. They have made him physically weaker, weaker in health and in his immune, and he is using his mind less and he has become spiritually dead. Does his road to destruction matter?
Not so much, for only the spirit is immortal but all those with life are not of the living.
