The meeting and gathering has come and passed. The day of independence has come and passed. Sevgilim and i went to see my friends from school, some as far back as first or second grade. As we entered the house, there was the sound of children and much playing. Through the night, most of the time was spent on the children and talking of past days and the other 98 percent of what conversation usually is. For a brief moment there was talk of rare individuals who were above animalism of the world but that faded fast. Mostly it was talk of things i did not have an ear for and then the children began to get tired and fussy, so everyone got them together and left. Some were still talking harshly, some were quiet, all were in the same place, their life preoccupied with playing. And so now it is that i find them on their death bed and it is the end. Is it that they have no time for their spiritual growth? Because of preoccupation of their children?
And the day of independence has past and what i find is that the major change is, i find i have independence from my gluttony. First remove the beams from your own eye and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from others.
As 222 ends, this day of 777 arrives. The first meaning became known as newly planted ideas began to grow into reality. They must be nourished and watered and they will push through the soil and manifest before your sight. And 777’s meaning that much is being accomplished and more blessings and miracles will occur. The angles are applauding you.
It is unwise to be attached to the outcome of one’s work. It matters not, if it is devoted to the spirit, what the result maybe. For in our limited knowledge, we know not what is best for others and many times ourselves at the present moment. The desire to see rewards of spiritual, even material, labor in our life time is vanity.
