I am not going to read last month’s journal entry until I finish this one. Things are going well these days; since the promotion life has been good except for the act of dating. One was too young and the other is far too busy and I will not chase.
I have been taking care of and sailing Job’s boat while he is in Arkansas. I have been out sailing a number of times now with others and myself. On the fourth of July I left Long Beach Harbor and sailed between Cat and Ship Islands. Then I continued on the south side of Ship and Horn circled the East Side of Horn and camped until the next morning. Then the trip continued on and the next stop was at Ship Island’s north side where I anchored and went ashore for breakfast. Bachuas and I had chili dogs and water, laid on the beach, did some swimming and then loaded back up for the trip back to Long Beach. The whole trip took over two days.
I have been reading again a great deal; I finished “Moby” and have started on “Return of the Native”. I think that I will like the book but enough of this, it is time to eat.
