Today I climbed the Acropolis to the foot of the wall, sat between two pillars, got some sun and I got screamed at. I was not to be up in that area evidently. I then went to send off postcards then went back to the Acropolis then climbed to the top of a hill to the south that overlooked the city, the Mediterranean, and the surrounding hills. It was such a beautiful view, all in very much a state of utter decay.
I was on my way back to the hostel when I decided to eat. I sat down and right after Andreas sat next to me. I had lost not plan but direction of my visit to Greece and he gave it back to me.
Thessaloniki is where I am to go, after Crete since I have already purchased my ticket. I will spend some time there then return to the mainland and head north to the holy mountain.
