I arrived in Athens today after spending the day and night in Patras. I ran into my share of Americans while in Brindisi at the day hostel where I got cleaned and washed. Most were twenty-five or less and heavy drinkers, living off their parent’s money. One that I meet, by the name of Mike, was a pleasant fellow and we traveled together and shared a room in Patras and food in Athens.
On the ferry from Brindisi, I meet Astrad, a lady from Mexico. We talked until we could stay awake no longer. It seems that I am coming across more women to speak with than men but, now thinking that is not so much the truth.
