This place is filled with young Americans. They are sitting down stairs talking and having few to several beers, discussing credit cards, parents, and bad sleepless train rides.
I have been able to talk with a few individually and they want more. You can feel it through their eyes and see it in their expressions. Most feel they must live the life expected of them by parents, society, or whoever it may be or whatever it may be.
I am looking forward to slowing down more myself. The place that was chosen was Greece on an overnight ferry that arrives in the late morning. Today I had a good washing of all things. We shall see if my bag shrinks and everything goes back in as tightly as it came out.
