Take heed least any man one: for many shall come in my name, saying I am christ; and shall deceive many.
Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, be ye not troubled for such things must need be; but the end shall not be yet.
For nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be earthquakes in divers’ places and there shall be famines and troubles.
These are the beginning of the sorrows, but take heed to yourselves.
For they shall deliver you up to councils and in the synagogues, you shall be beaten and ye shall be brought before rules and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.
But when they lead you and bring you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do you premeditate.
For it is not ye that speak but the spirit.
Now brother shall betray brother to death and the father his son and children shall rise up against their parents and shall cause them to be put to death.
Ye shall be hated by men for my name’s sake but he they that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.
But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not to, then let them that be in Judea flee to the mountains and let them that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein to take anything out of their house and let them that is in the field not turn back again to take up their garment.
But woe to them that are with child and to those that give suck in those days and pray ye that your flight be not in winter.
For in those days shall be affliction such as was not from the beginning of the creation unto this time, neither shall be.
Except that the spirit had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved.
But for the elect’s sake, who have chosen the spirit, it hath shorted those days.
And then if any one shall say to you, lo here is christ or lo christ is there, believe them not.
For false christ and false prophets shall rise and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible even the elect.
But take heed and behold, I have told you all these things.
But in those days after the tribulation, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light.
The stars of heaven will fall and the powers that are in the heaven shall be shaken and then shall they see the son of man humanity coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Then shall he send his angels and shall humanity gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost parts of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
