I awoke and had my hostel breakfast of grapefruit, potatoes, beans, and toast with orange juice. Then I walked to town to find out what was there and then went down to the heaths. It is very similar to the old growth forests that I found in the Mt. St. Helen‘s area. Then I walked back to town and bought some fruit, came back to the hostel and had lunch. I have been waiting to decide what I was to do about contacting Edwina. I finally got through and found out that she is on holiday until next week. There is a rhyme and reason for this, always having the people I go to see not being there.
